Guidelines for Guest Posts/Paid Posts

Dear potential contributor,

Thank you for considering submitting an article to The Southern Maryland Chronicle. As a digital news site for Southern Maryland, we are always looking for high-quality content from contributors. However, before you submit an article, we would like to provide you with some important guidelines that you must follow.

Firstly, please note that we do not offer “Reseller” pricing. Therefore, please do not inquire about discounts or a cheaper price, as our terms are non-negotiable. However, we do accept paid/guest posts, which must adhere to the following guidelines:

• Articles must not contain any links or verbiage related to illegal activities, drugs, adult-themed content (unless approved), or any other topic that may not be suitable for a general news site. If any link is found to be in violation, it will be removed from the site, and there will be no refunds.
• The content must be detailed and unique.
• Posts must not contain any spelling or grammar errors.
• The Southern Maryland Chronicle becomes the owner of the content, and it cannot be used anywhere else without permission.
• A byline for the author is available upon request.

In addition, we have specific article requirements that must be met:

• One (1) do-follow link, up to two (2) no-follow links provided.
• Two to three (2-3) images (.png only), images must be 1200 px x 675 px, and images must be sent separately as attachments. Do not include them in the article. One image will be used as the cover photo. Images must include photo credit, and they must be able to be used without The Southern Maryland Chronicle paying. Any paid photographs must have a receipt with them (Adobe, iStock, etc.). Articles with no images or incorrectly sent images will be sent back.
• A feature image that is 1200 px x 675 px, .png.
• A “News-Style” headline.
• All information must be factual.
• All guest posts will be located in the “PARTNER CONTENT” section to comply with US Federal regulations regarding paid content.

Moreover, there are specific guidelines for submitting and publishing your article:

• Any article must be submitted to seosaimali@gmail.com to be approved first.
• Once the article is approved, a Paypal invoice will be sent. A Paypal email address must be included with the article.
• Payment must be finalized before the article is published.
• Once payment is received, the article will be published at the next available opportunity. This is a news site, and news comes first. Articles are typically published within 48 BUSINESS hours AFTER payment is received.
• Once the article is published, a live link will be sent. Articles are published on our schedule, not yours.

We appreciate repeat posters, but please send each article in a separate email. Having emails that have more than one article in them becomes confusing, and articles can get lost or even deleted.

Finally, the cost of a guest/paid post varies based on the number of words in your article. The pricing is as follows:

• $150.00 per article up to 1500 words.
• $200.00 per article up to 4000 words.
• $300 per article 4001-6000.
• Over 6000 words contact for pricing.

There are discounts for purchasing multiple articles:

• 10 articles – $100.00 each, billed as $1,000.00, articles will be spaced out by 2-3 days.
• 5 articles – $125.00 each, billed as $625.00. Articles will be spaced out by 2-3

We only accept content related to Crypto/Loan/Casino/Gambling/Cannabis/Nootropic-related/Supplement from the websites listed below. For Casino/Gambling posts, bulk orders are available at a discounted rate of 15% off for 5 orders and 20% off for 10 orders. The guidelines for bulk orders follow the same guidelines as above discounts.

The rates for articles are as follows:

• $300.00 per article for 500-1000 words
• $400.00 per article for 1100-2500 words
• $500.00 per article for 2501-5000 words
• $600.00 per article for 5001-10000+ words

Please note that the above list is the only casino links that we will accept. Any casino/gambling link that you submit must be legal in the State of Maryland and the United States of America.

If you would like to insert a do-follow link into a previous post or include an extra link, we charge $100.00 (standard) or $150.00 (casino/gambling). You cannot change or add any text to an article.
